Chicagoland Christian Center Embassy
"The Best Is Yet To Come"
OUR CHURCH
Chicagoland Christian Center was birthed in the heart of the Father. The Lord called Marshall Davis and he, with his wife, began to share and enact the Word of the Lord. They sought the Lord for direction as the ministry that began as a bible class quickly grew too large for their home. Their mission then, as well as now, to minister to the people of God and led them from a rented Day Care Center, a rehabbed automotive repair shop, to our present Worship facility.
This ministry is filled with such love and genuine compassion that people are drawn to our leaders and our church that they may be loved, nurtured and healed.
The focus and direction of the ministry is in the flow of the Holy Spirit. The vision causes us to move under the anointing and the direction of God. We moved with a free flow as the School of Ministry began classes in February of 1997.
The vision continues to grow, but our focus is always the same. Our purpose is to please the Father. We believe that He is pleased as we seek and develop souls for the Kingdom of God . Our task is never ending, as we search for men and women, boys and girls to love and nurture. Our goal is to have the spirit of excellence demonstrated in all of the teaching components of the church.
Our ongoing mission of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry is leading us to be a prototype of the Kingdom of God in the City of Chicago and the world. Our destiny has partnered us with community organizations such as the Historic North Pullman Organization who is presently assisting us in housing developments for God's people so we can be salt and light in the community we are planted into.
We desire to minister to the physical and the natural elements of man that we may produce mature balanced Christians for the promotion of the kingdom. The ministry is in the process of securing facilities designed for gymnastics, aerobics and sports, including a focus on basketball and football.
In 2013, our vision came full circle of having a Ssenior Citizens Complex in the heart of the community.
Our worldwide vision is fluid and subject to the plan of God. As we move under the anointing, our work takes a different focus as the Father leads us. Our vision has stretched and extended us beyond our natural understanding. It is the springboard of our life and presents to us multiple challenges that propel us to the next level of Glory as we seek his face.
